    This is the best place for coffee & sweets in Union City and quite possibly in NJ! The bakery has some amazing cookies and treats. The coconut macaroons are THE BEST I've ever had! I stopped going into bakeries in general because I've had some very stale items- especially in NYC- but here everything here is so fresh so I can taste the difference! What a treat to have this gem in the neighborhood. Mary Ellen who works there is such a sweetheart. She is so cheerful and friendly- it's always nice to stop in and chat with her. I hope to order a cake one of these days for my daughter- they have some beautiful designs for sure.

    Stopped in this morning and Marielena made my day! She helped me pick out delicious pastries and a cake and was so helpful and friendly. Great way to start my day and be welcomed to the new neighborhood! I will definitely be a frequent customer. Reasonably priced and fresh homemade food and desserts!

    I went here today to buy a birthday cake for my aunt and was shocked when I asked for a plastic bag for some other items I was carrying and the woman working there rudely said "No." I told her I would be willing to buy one and she still said"No." very rudely. I proceeded to tell her but I am a paying customer and this is the second time I come here to buy a cake. She was very rude and said she was not allowed to give away bags unless there was a Palermo product in it. This was despite my just having bought a cake!  The employee was thoughtless and if this store is willing to treat paying customers so poorly, I will not go back. There are plenty of other bakeries in the area and they do not deserve my business. Do not patronize them!

    Food sucks! Friend ordered ham and swiss roll. Was charged full price but missing ingredients mentioned on menu. Cashier only said sorry!

    I ordered chicken avacodo roll. Guess what? A thin slice of chicken and avacodo spread!
